Glaucoma
Glaucoma is a condition involving increased pressure inside the eye (intraocular pressure.) If left untreated it can lead to progressive vision loss beginning at the periphery and leading to tunnel vision. There have been anecdotal reports of improvement of symptoms of glaucoma with hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT.) We witnessed an improvement in glaucoma symptoms in a 2014 case, undergoing treatment for diabetes and arthritic pain.
