The Oceanside area on Vancouver Island, BC, is a beautiful region of beaches, parks and rivers. The communities of Nanoose Bay, Parksville and Qualicum are host to many resorts, spas, restaurants, hiking trails and fishing opportunities. The east coast of central Vancouver Island is Canada's mildest year long climate. In the summertime, the region is full of tourism and accommodation options are scarce. Outside of the peak time there are many affordable options for accommodation.

Thai Smile Cuisine serves authentic Thai cuisine with a smile. The restaurant is located 10 minutes away just past Coombs. There are other Thai restaurants in the Oceanside area, but this one is our highest recommendation. The restaurant also hosts cooking classes on Mondays, when the restaurant is closed.
