Epilepsy

There is anecdotal evidence that epilepsy responds well to hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT.) It has been known for some time that a Ketogenic Diet (KD) is effective in the reduction of epileptic seizures. The combination of HBOT and KD, although not yet well studied in epilepsy, has promise as an effective treatment. Currently, the combination of HBOT and KD is being studied as a promising cancer therapy.

Below is a 1987 study from China that discusses the results of 100 epileptic children following a HBOT treatment protocol.
